How can I get a bigger, longer spacebar?

I hate my droid x. I hate hate hate it! And why? Because all my words are separated by a "b" or "." likebthis.becausebthebspace.barbisbtoo.short.

What can I do to get a different multitouch keyboard? Need to root? Swype and myself do not get along, it forces me to text with one hand and it feels un-natural.

B.Wallace85 I hate you for beating me to it. I was also going to suggest opening e-mails with badly spelled Ci@lis ads.

Seriously, though, try Swiftkey from the market. If that doesn't work then there are some other downloadable keyboards but I think you have to be rooted to install them.

lol good pic. Im not opposed to rooting. I made my own blackberry hybrids but android is pretty new to me so Im still learning the ropes.

I'm not sure WHERE the space bar on this is, but you could try it out.

I'd recommend Astro instead of whatever it is they suggest for the .zip downlaod so you can work with them. I've used it and found it quite useful.

Though you probably know this I'll mention it just in case. The Multi-Touch keyboard, also stock, has a bigger space bar than the Swype keyboard. Just long touch on your entry field and chose Input Method.
