Can't do it yet. Hoping when 2.2 comes out that will change unless you have a fairly new Samsung tv

Lol, kind of defeats the purpose eh? Guessing that was your point. Anyway look on the market, pretty sure there is a phone dlna server out there already.

Is there a DLNA app on the fascinate? ..it may be an option if your TV supports it.

...or just upgrade to the X :D

A x is anything but a upgrade I just ditched my droid x in favor of another fascinate I'm so glad to have my galaxy s phone back. It just spanks the x IMO and mine is unbiased.

Cant you put movies onto your tv without having to have a wifi connection? I dont understand, Im technology dumb.

No, you have to be on wifi. Think of wifi as your home. In order for your phone to find your tv or ps3 it has to be in your home.

Buy a new samsung led or lcd tv, and use allshare.
Or a samsung bluray player. Those have allshare too.

Without getting in to a debate about the X and the Fascinate LOL... The ONLY way for your movies to hit your TV from the Fascinate is either thru AllShare (with WifI) to a PS3, Xbox360, DirecTV box, or Blu Ray Player or TV that is DNLA compatible... Some of those devices MIGHT use the USB cable, not 100% I haven't tried that.

But in IMO the X is slightly better in a LOT of ways, but the Fascinate is the next best thing for Verizon :-)

And you can say in yours the Fascinate is slightly better, but the Droid X is pretty damn far from sux. Just saying.
