How can I setup my POP3 email to push messages?

I switched from a Windows Mobile smartphone to the Droid. I love the change except I can't seem to figure out how to have work emails off of my POP account push to notify me. Instead, it seems that I can only choose frequency of

Can't it just notify me when an email comes from a "push" option?

No Push is only available for gmail accounts or Exchange accounts.

I had my old phone pushing via POP. I set it up using https://www.wirelesssync.vzw.com. Will this push emails?
