Just converted from the BB Storm 2 to a Droid 2 but I have a delima.
The main reason I left the BB was b/c typing on it was too difficult and i figured I would get the D2 so I could have the keyboard and more importantly, wifi tethering. But since having it now for about 6 days I never use the slide keyboard. Typing is so much easier and faster on the screen and a pure joy after coming from the storm 2 BB.
I also used Z4Root and rooted the phone but now thinking of swapping the phone out to something that doesn't have a keyboard.
I never really researched any of the Android phones just saw the keyboard and said, "I'll take that one"
Now that I have my arms around this thing...should I use my 30 return policy and pick up something different? If so, which one? (Verizon)
Lastly, do I un root the phone then remove the app? Then factory reset the phone? I have no problem setting up mail again etc...no big deal but if I swap, I have to have a phone that can be rooted so I can get the wifi tether again.
Sorry for the long first post, this forum has been so much help to me before I registered. Hopefully I can contribute to a new Droid user in the future and I have been on BB's for 6 years.
Cheers
