how do i add music to Google Music

i have tried everything that i can think of. i have my music in my windows media player and cant get any of it to upload to Google Music. i know it's probably something simple, but what am i doing wrong?

Its been a while since I did it, buy I believe there is something called Music Manager that you can download from the Google music site that will do it for you.

i got it. it seems the problem was that i had my music in WMP. for some reason, it wouldn't upload. i moved everything to My Music and it started right away. thanks.
