How do I change my boot animation. Im running apex. And im still new to all of this. Oh and since im running this theme. Can I ever switch to another one maybe better. Or could I be bricked. And when are the chances of being bricked ever happen?

root explorer. just replace the bootanimation.zip file with the new one.

or

use a update.zip style boot animation and bootstrap into recovery and apply update.zip

Welcome!

As far as boot animations go, find the file or download to the .zip and download it to your computer. I use Root Explorer, if you have it, do the following>>>

-Save the bootanimation.zip to the root of your SD card.

-Open up Root Explorer, and navigate to SD card.

-Scroll down to your downloaded file and long press it and select copy.

-Back out one screen and go to System and click on it.

-Then click on Media and open it.

-In media, click the R/W button in the top right of screen so it reads R/O.

-There will be the original bootanimation.zip, long press on it, rename it to bootanimation.bak.

-Now paste the zip you copied in that window.

-Long press it and click "rename." Renaming it to "bootanimation.zip" and save.

-Now click the R/O button back to where it reads R/W, exit and reboot.
