How do i download & send video from text messages?

I've tried both double tapping and long hold. Neither work. Double tapping closes text system and long hold just causes it to highlight around finger, but nothing. When i remove finger it opens the video.

Don't know how to tell what model droid it is. i got it in March 2010 and have had nothing but trouble with the phone.

My old pay as you go phone worked better and was more reliable than this phone! :icon_evil:

When you open the video pause it and hit the menu button. There should be an option to save it.

No, it goes back to the main text messaging section. Could it be my phone?

I wouldn't think so....but it is possible. I don't get many video messages and don't have any at the momment to verify how to save. Could go to VZW store and see if they can help.

Ok I just made a quick video and txted it to myself. I long pressed the video and options came up to save attached to sd.
I use handcent though. Might try downloading that then try the long press.

I'll try to verizon store today, if open. I've had nothing but trouble w/this phone since i got it. Not happy with it. Hubby LOVES his! Go figure! Guess I got a dud.

Go to the Market and search for "handcent". Download that program and use it for all your text messages and pic/video messaging. It works much better than the stock messaging app.
