How do I get out of Bootloader?

I was trying to root my 2.2 Droid using this write up:

There was a problem while running RSD Lite and now I am stuck in Bootloader and I don't know how to get out of it?

Please help.

if you pull the battery does it go back into the bootloader?

Yes a battery pull still has me in bootloader.

so if you are unplugged fro pc and you battery pull, when you turn the phone back on by pressing power only, the phone doesn't boot it goes straight to the bootloader?

If this is true I would reflash the 2.0.1 .sbf

I am having the same problem. I've flashed back to 2.0.1 but it continues to go straight into the bootloader when I turn the phone on. Can anyone help?

are you plugged into your pc or holding any puttons when powering on?

Very strange, try flashing the 2.0.1 sbf again

I've tried multiple times, still goes straight in to the bootloader

That is very weird, might want to call verizon, sounds like something is wrong with the phone

It is a referb so i have new phone so I'm trying to get this one back to stock before i send it in. Is it ok to send in even though it's stuck in the bootloader?
