How do I get rid of annoying popups?

I have a Droid Turbo which sometimes gets these annoying popups whenever I try to follow a link. A couple of the ones that I have received are below. How do I get rid of them? My antivirus didn't find any spyware. Thanks.

That seems to be a pretty common scam. See if this helps, and whatever you do....do not click the Fix / Repair Fast button.

Not always..I've gotten the "You have a Virus" blah blah while following to links to "news" articles from Google Now.

delete the browsers cache in settings - apps, or try a different browser and see if you still get them.

This error is really annoying. I literally got pissed off because as soon as I was about to open google or any other site this error prompted and I was up to nothing. Tried to find solutions on four virus errors and got so many guides and solutions to eliminate this error. So after searching for nearly 2 weeks I was successful in removing this error from my android phone.
