How do I get the PSX emulator to work?

Hi I downloaded CTRacing game from the PSX rom. But when I play it, I can't get past the black screen with the sony info on it. The sound plays in the background, but pressing the buttons does nothing pass the third party programmers' little info tag at the start of the game. What should I do to fix this?

Iam using a Droid x.
