How do I go about trading phones with someone?

I have an HTC rezound and a guy is going to trade his droid razr m for it.

Both on Verizon, I know the droids sim is micro so my sim won't fit.

I called Verizon and they are shipping me a simple card that will fit. (for free which was cool).

So can I just (obviously factory reset my phone) stick the new sim in and that's it?

VZ may have to switch your phones in their system. The best bet is make the switch and activation at a corp VZ store that way if something comes up they can (hopefully) solve it on the spot. When I gave my wife my dinc2 I just called VZ and they did the activation but there wasn't a sim card involved and it was only a one phone activation not a swap.
