how do i know when someone replies?

how can i tell when someone replies on my thread? will i get a message or something? i'm a newb

On this forum? You'll get an email at your registered address. However, if you go into the User Control Panel on the site, you can unsubscribe from threads, which will also disable those emails.

You have a couple of settings for that -- one of them is an instant e-mail, which hasn't worked for me for months, but I'm also a :whore:.

You can set it for a daily digest, and probably not to show at all. In any case, checking your User CP at the top of the page is a good idea. You'll see all the threads you're subscribed to that have new posts.
