How do I make an image?

New phone coming tomorrow with updates already installed. I would like to have an image of this so it can be restored to shipped status.
I know there are images out there, but they are older now. Anyone know where I can learn how to make my own image?
Any software that will make one?

...all for naught...it came with 4.02 and all the files are out...
