How do I make APK files to Share?

HEllo Droid LOVERS!:heart:

I was wondering I always see the Apk files for apps and I've downloaded them before, and I wondered if I wanted to share my Swype apk that came with my Droid X how would I go about doing so? If you can explain it to me, I'm a techie, but not a super techie, so please dumb it down for me, haha, thanks in advance!!!

Any paid apps.... apk sharing is not allowed here on DF.

Swype... being a 'beta' app with a sign up.... sharing is not allowed either on DF.

Oh okay, yeah I guess I didn't think of it that way. But thanks, if I wanted to share a free apk i'll just try and find it on the net then

Free .apk's are different.

Free is free... so share away

one way that i know how to is use astro and make a backup of your apps and it just creates .apk's and dumps them on your sd card

if you receive an APK that is a free non paid, how hard is it to load them or make them work?

If it's a free app you download it from the Market. If it's a .apk file install with astro.

I think that's all that needs to be said on this subject.
