I have an LG Optimus V that I bought from a friend, and I clicked factory reset from the Privacy menu. My phone shut down and after it rebooted a different menu came up. I think the phone was rooted because the menu that came up is, "ClockworkMod Recovery V5.0.2.7". I am not sure what I need to do next, in the bottom section the following occurs:

Menu Key: No visible effect occurs
Home Key: No visible effect occurs
Back Key: 1st press; Highlighted selection moves up one space and menu disappears to reveal logo
2nd press; Menu reappears
Search Key: (same as back key, instead of moving up one space, the selection moves down
Volume buttons: Up; No visible effect
Down; Highlighted selection moves down, no other effect
Power button: 1st press: Menu disappears
2nd Press: Menu reappears with highlighted section at very top of the list

Any further info, please reply...

Does it boot? If so I would boot it up, uninstall clockwork mod recovery, and then go to supersu. In supersu click menu, settings, and scroll to the bottom and click complete unroot. The shut off the phone and boot into recovery and click wipe cache then click factory reset. But if your buttons arent working that wont be an option. You may have to sbf the phone

Edit: also make sure you are on a stock image.

Before I reset it, I had the phone for a while, I am pretty certain the buttons all work (as they did before). But, when I turn my phone on it shows the LG logo, then jumps straight to the mod. It doesn't have the Android or Virgin Mobile logos as it would if I were to start it before the reset.

Look and see if you can find an sbf file for it

We need to find a factory image or your phone. Let me look and see what I find.
