How do I save emails.

I'm getting emails but when I read them and come back to my email account they are gone. I hit the load more messages buttons and get nothing. What does the star do?
I tried to go to Motorola's website for tech support, but was still loading the last time I checked.

I am wondering the exact same thing. I was reading an email, set my phone down, came back to email and it was gone. Id like to be able to keep some email on my phone.
