How do i stop the 2.3 update on droid x

my phone did the 2.3 update yesterday, and to sat the least i hated it


i have done a sbf and back to a z4rooted 2.2

well my phone downloaded the update again but didnt install it automatically this time but it says it will pop up every hour asking to install

how do i keep this from happenening as i really really really hated 2.3

you need to install an alternate recovery. Download Droid X bootstrapper from the market and install it. Once installed you need to run it once and then go ahead and let the install try. It will fail due to the alternate recovery you now have (clockworkmod recovery)
