How do I uninstall an app?

I'm new to the Droid and love the phone. I've searched for the answer but can't find it.

I've downloaded a number of apps including some games that I would like to uninstall. So -- how do I uninstall an app?

either

settings>apps>manage apps> and u can click on them to uninstall

or

go to market>downloads and click on the app
