How do i Use Turn By Turn????

i goto moto car home and click on map then on get directions, then enter my address, my milestone finds it and shows the directions on the map. but my location dosent move and i dont get that woman telling me where to go. **GPS IS ON**

You need to choose navigate. Once you have your directions up you should be able to just tap menu and navigate.

No it is before you see the map screen, right when the written directions are given, there it says the word navigate - and you click on that and it goes to the map and the lady will start to speak.

I see you said you are using car dock. Make sure GPS is turned on.

Gotta chime in for those who haven't tried this. Did a longer road trip last night. Put in the directions. Hit Navigate....

Really super cool! I've seen lots of GPS screens but this is really nice. 3d flyover effect is awesome. Zoom and pan is smooth. Auto orients keeping your destination top center. Switches from day to night time. Didn't kill the battery as bad as I thought. No need for a Garmin when you have this.

Just think how the world has evolved. I love navigation when i'm in a jam but can anyone still read a dead tree map? Is tech making us more dependent on electronics. In two generations from now will there be paper maps.

Choose Directions. After specifying a destination you should have the option to Navigate.

Or, from the Car Home, hit Voice Search and say "Navigate to...".

I don't know about anyone else, and I love my Droid, but I'm still keeping a "dead tree" map in my car.

I still like old-fashioned books, the kind where you physically turn the pages, too. LOL.

click on "voice search". When it opens say "Navigate to...[address e.g. 104 Jones Street in Sacramento, California]". Google will confirm your directions and then guide you by voice to the destination.

Another thing you can do is add the "bubble buttons" to google maps. When you search for a place it will show the place labeled with a bubble on the map. Then on one side it will have a call button, and on the other a nav button. Very convenient. To add it open up maps, hit menu, hit more, hit labs, then bubble buttons.

I also have a my location button, a scale bar, and a alayer button to easily switch between different map layers.
