How do you disable My Verizon and Backup Assistant?

They run in the background and I don't need them. Any ideas? I'm running rooted stock.

You can disable them by clicking on them in apps and doing it there. You can freeze them with Titanium backup. You can delete them entirely with Titanium backup.

go to settings..apps.... all then scroll to the app .. open it and click disable at the top.. it will be removed from your app tray also

Ummm... you want to leave that one in case you use another application that uses "Verizon Login"...
