How do you keep music separate from podcasts?

So when I open the album list or artist list in either the stock music player or in btunes, I get this massive list which includes all the podcasts I've downloaded and subscribed to via Doggcatcher.

How can I keep my music separate from my podcasts?

Seriously? Is there some way to manage the folder so that the music apps don't pick up all the podcasts???

I am also having the same problem a year later and I don't see any responses. Did anybody here find a resolution?
