How do you remove the bottom toolbar?

After finding my droid in the hands of my 7 year old, I find a transparent toolbar at the bottom of the screen. It consist of 3 boxes - Phone, Apps, Browser. I can no longer slide the screen up to see all of my apps. Now, I have to touch the middle box to pull them up. How do I get rid of it? I want to slide to get to my apps!

Weird question, if you go to settings > about phone, what build are you running? Also, got 5 home screens now? Because that sounds like stock Froyo rather than Eclair (aka your kid updated your phone for you).

Grats, you're on Froyo :P Unfortunately, the only way to change that bar (that I know of) is to use a home replacement (launcher pro, adw, ahome, etc).
