How does the DROID 2 work with FORD SYNC?

I have the original Droid and love it both with and without my less then wonderful SYNC system in my car.

The Droid 1 pairs to the system and can download the contacts, make calls and USB connect and bluetooth stream but it will not text message with SYNC.

How does the DROID 2 work with SYNC? I'm thinking of switching but would like to know first.

once the blue toof connection is made you will be able to automatically start your car from your phone and there will be an app that will allow you to remotely control your car from anywhere.

My Droid X.. the text app works with my 2010 Fusion SYNC.
