How long does that Olio-Phobic coating last?

I love the oil resistant glass on the Gnex so I'm curious how long the coating will last? or is it actually embedded in the chemistry of the glass?

I would think it lasts the lifetime of the phone. Then again I'm using a screen protector myself.

Mine lasted for a little over 3 months. They need to sell it in a spray can!
