How many apps does DroidX come with?

Does anyone have the number of apps a standard Verizon DroidX comes with?

Its been a while since I've counted but I remember it being a ton I want to say 43 but I could be way off. I thought you'd like an estimate since no one else has replied.

Well, I don't know either, I don't have an X I have a D2. Now I think the D2 and X have the same stock apps.

On my desktop on my iMac I have a folder that has every apk needed for the D2. In that folder there are 288 items.

Now not every apk is an app but a heck of a lot of them are.

More for me, I would like the option of removing APP's that are pre-installed that I do not want without having to root to do it.

ATrackDog indicates it tracked 200+ apps. I'm sure many of those were not installed by me. Trying to figure out how many my DroidX originally had...

I counted 47 on mine. You listed nook reader, that wasn't native on mine. My Verizon wasn't native till after the first software upgrade.

too many.
I just got my X last week and was shocked at how much bloatware there was.

the only reason I'm considering rooting/ROM'ing is to get rid of some of the crapware.
Coming from a D1 it's kinda surprising to see all the junk.. and you cant get rid of it
