How to activate Droid 4 w/ no SIM card?

Hi,

I have a Moto Droid 4 that I'm not using, I transferred its SIM card to my new phone after copying off pics, etc, then I did a Factory Reset.

I now would like to use it like a (very) mini-tablet over WiFi (no 4G), but the activation step demands a SIM card be installed.

Is there a way that I can get past this step like I could with my OG Droid?

It'll be the four corner trick, some one on here should remember. I'll do a quick google search.

Tap the top left corner, then top right, bottom right and lastly bottom left. About ½ in on all corners. That should do the trick.

I believe that's right, clockwise 4 corners from top left to bottom left.
