Unfortunately the Verizon models of the HTC 10 will likely never be supported by HTC's developer tools. This means for these devices we won't be able to get the bootloaders unlocked without some sort of exploit or hack. The good news is that if you are on T-mobile or AT&T you will be able to use HTC's sim unlocked version which is supported by the tool.
In order to unlock your bootloader head to HTCdev.com. Register an account if you don't already have one.
-On your phone go to settings/ about phone, then click the build number 7x to unlock developer settings.
-in developer settings be sure to enable "oem unlocking" and "usb debugging"
-from dev site select "unlock bootloader" then select "get started"
-choose your device select "begin unlock bootloader"
-select "yes" when asked if you would like to continue, then agree to the terms
-Boot into bootloader mode (power down phone, then volumedown+power)
-boot into fastboot using volume buttons to highlight and power to select
-connect the device to your PC
-download the fastboot file and place it in your Android folder
-open a command prompt from within your Android folder and type "fastboot oem get_identifier_token"
-Copy the code and paste it into the window on htcdev
-then submit
-You will then receive an email with your specific token
-in the command prompt type "fastboot flash unlock token unlock_code.bin"
Enjoy your freshly bootloader unlocked HTC 10!
