How to change search default setting

When I first got my Droid, the search button would bring up a box that I could type in or do a voice search. Somehow it got switched so now it brings up a window that only allows voice search. How do I set it back to the regular search box?

I know that on my Droid, if I just normally tap the search button, it brings up the search box....but if I long press the search button it brings up the voice search...are you long pressing it?

Did not know I could long press for voice search only. Thanks!

Ah, that's it. For some reason it doesn't open most of the time when I short press it. Maybe it's because I put a screen protector on?
