I found the IOGEAR 4 port HDMI KVMP switch to be very useful and works great with my Samsung Smart Dock! I bought it about 6 months ago and I am very happy with it. The only issue is that because it works off the usb ports for switching between devices, depending on the device, there is an occasional lag. But it never lags when I switch from or to my Samsung smart dock that I connect my Note 3 to; check out the demo I found of how to connect the KVM switch to the smart dock here:
