How to copy files to computer?

Just got me X, I LOVE IT!!! I am trying to copy files from my DINC, I am using the media share app, follow the instuctioins and enable usb mass storage but my computer doesnt even recognize the phone. wont even charge while plugged in to the computer. any ideas?

Don't have the X... but first thing is to ensure that the plug is in all the way, that the proper driver is installed on your PC, and whether or not you need to mount the X....
