how to create folders

The newbie Droid owner here :motdroidhoriz:. I would like to organize my Droid screen into folders but can I name them and if so, how do I do it? I found how to create them, but not how to name them, and I'm guessing to drag and drop items into them? I'd rather see more of my wallpaper than my icons!

long press,then click folders, and then new folder. That will put in on that screen that you are currently on. Click on the folder and at the top near the X to close it out press and hold and then you can rename it.

next question, any suggestion as the best way to organize my screen? i'm totally at a loss as to whether split it on 3 screens or use folders or do both...lol
