How to delete emails from IMAP server with Droid

Hello,

I use IMAP email. When I delete an email on the droid, I want it to be deleted from my IMAP server. However, it stays on the server, and will only be deleted if I delete it from my computer or through webmail. How can I get Droid to delete email from my server using IMAP?

I just got my X yesterday, and am moving from BB. I am experiencing the same issues as well as delays using push technology. My exchange is a lot faster, almost immediate, but my IMAP for my personal account is very slow.

I spent a couple of hours last night researching, and really didnt come across anything, but if I do, I'll be sure to let you know.

So after further research it appears that the stock email client does not support removal from server. I hae no idea as to that is hte whole premise behind IMAP. anyways, until they fix this, if they do in 2.2's release, you can use K9. I am sure there are others, but its time to move onto other droid research projects...
