How to get original keyboard back

I just switched from Liberty back to Apex. I didnt realize that Fab's website was down though and so I attempted to use the toolbox to switch the keyboard. Since the website is down, the switch failed and now I am stuck with the Swype keyboard. No other options exist in the settings and the toolbox fails any time I try to make a change.

How can I get back to the gingerbread keyboard? Is it an apk I can find somewhere? I really hate to have to reinstall APEX.

you should be able to change from swype to the GB keyboard via settings>language and keyboard>input type

I tried that first. Both going through settings, and pressing in an input and holding until the options popup came up. In both instances only the Swype keyboard is in the list. There are no other keyboards listed.

every link i have come across for this is down. give me a second, i'll see if i can pull the .apk form the rom and post it

here, give this a shot. i pulled it from the rom, and i believe the default is the GB keyboard. try installing it like a normal apk, or you may have to drop it in /system/app with root explorer. make a backup first, just in case.
