How to get rid of "Scan and Fix" Prompt when Mounting?

I have mounted and remounted my DROID without any problem for the last month.

But yesterday when I mounted it, Windows 7 gave me the "Disk could have corrupted files" prompt.

When I click "Scan and Fix" it immediately dismounts the SD Card. So it never gets fix.

While skipping it has no noticeable impact on data integrity, it is still very annoying to be confronted with the prompt each time.

is there a way to get rid of it?

Did you happen to disconnect your phone from your computer without "safely removing" it? That's what happened with my usb jumpdrive and now it always gives me the Scan and Fix message when I connect it.

Actually last night is the first time I used that function. And soon after I got the scan and fix prompt.

I have been connecting and disconnecting it from the computer with just the DROID's own "Dismount" function. It never seems to cause any problems.

Till yesterday.
