I won't ever buy any protectors again..I've bought 3 packs and only one went on smoothly....Get 50 bubbles on every one of them...And at 13 bucks a pop, it's DEFINITELY not worth it!!
Buy them on ebay dude, you can get them for about $1 for a 3-pack. The ones I bought do not affect sensitivity at all and you cannot even tell they are on the screen.
These are what I use on my Droid and iPod touch.
3 LCD Screen Protectors for VERIZON Motorola DROID A855 - eBay (item 290403297853 end time Feb-16-10 17:08:44 PST)
To install:
1. Clean screen well. Use a dust-free cloth of some sort, like you would use for a camera lens. Clean until it is spotless of prints, dust, and 100% clean looking. Have a credit card and scotch tape handy.
2. Have clean hands. Dust is your enemy when installing screen protectors. Also, find a clean surface in a room that hasn't recently been dusted\vacuumed.
3. Hold screen protector by its edges during this entire process. If your fingers touch the sticky side you are bound to get dust\prints.
4. Peel off the first backing (has blue or red label?) from the screen protector
5. Lay one end of protector onto Droid screen (do not just plop the entire screen protector onto the droid!) and use a credit card to kind of push\squeegee the protector onto the screen; start at the end you placed onto the Droid, finish with the end you are holding elevated in your hand.
If you find any bubbles, use your credit card to try to push the bubble(s) out to the nearest edge. If this doesn't work, try to lift the protector up until you reach the bubble then use your credit card to push the protector back down starting from where your bubble is\was and go towards the edge.
If you find any dust, get a piece of scotch tape. Gently lift the area with your nail or some kind of slim device and try to slide the piece of tape under the screen protector (sticky side facing screen protector) and make contact with the particle of dust. I did this myself and was able to pull 2 pieces of dust off the sticky side of my screen protector. Be very careful when lifting the screen protector. You do not want to kink or make any marks in the protector.
