Here's a Liberty 1.0 Installation/FAQ guide, as new releases come out I will be updating this PDF with new information while gathering new information and adding to the FAQ as we go and addressing most of the issues and or bugs with fixes. So if you have something you would like me to add to this, please PM me!!

Liberty1.0 Installation / FAQ Guide

This is the method I used to get a prefect glitch free install of liberty. There are other ways like simple data/cache wipe then install but I can say doing this process has left me a fast and issue free install of liberty. If you are having any issues you are in the minority and I suggest you use this method.

1. Download Maderstcok340.zip and place on sd card wherever you keep downloads. Place the .apk's for z4root and bootstrap recovery on sd card, handy forever trust me. For those that don't know this zip file combines all the tbh patches and successfully installs the 340 ota and you will be un rooted thus z4 and bootstrap.

2. Reboot into recovery and select zip from sd. Navigate to your maderstcok340.zip and install. It takes a few minutes as it replaces everything bootloader, kernel and all....so wait then reboot.

3. You are now on clean .340. Activate your phone but skip all other setup prompts. (not needed yet and saves time). Install z4root and let it reboot.

4. After rooting skip everything again and install the bootstrap apk, boot into recovery.

5. In recovery just to be anal I cleared data/caches again. Now install Liberty 1.0 from sd as usual.

6. Done! Reboot and now sign in and restore stuff however you do it and enjoy trouble free Liberty!

When I try this, I keep getting an error that I have an incorrect username/password...but I am positive I am entering them in correctly. I'm not really sure what to make of that. Help??

Make sure you are not connected to wifi and that you are keying the info correctly. On the incoming server scree type username with @yahoo.com. on the outgoing server screen check the box require sign in type you username without @yahoo.com. see if that works.

That worked perfectly! Thanks a lot. My first issue was that I was connected to wifi.
