How to keep buttons light up

The menu, home, back, $ search hard keys on bottom keep going dark. What setting will keep them on?

Mine is the same way - totally stock except for root. I am starting to REALLY dislike this phone.

Don't dislike the phone. It is great. It is the best I have had. However, some things are not easy to figure out. Like I bet there is an answer to tyis question, we just can't find it. Someone will tell us the fix.

There are only four (Menu-Home-Back-Search), and they don't move around. If you can memorize a phone number you can remember the order, right? Even in the dark when the screen is on there is enough ambient light to figure out where they are...at least I haven't had any issues so far.

FYI: I did do a couple of market searches and didn't find anything to help...sorry.

I expect that if you give it just a little more time your finger will subconsciously go to the right spot for each key...I don't really even think about it any more.

Yep, that is how I do it now. There is no ambient light, when they are off, they are dark. Something tells them to turn off, so we just have to figure what and tell it to stop.
