How to move music library from sd card to phone?

So I have stored a lot of music using the default google music app and its gone to the internal data and I just received a memory card and want to change the musics' storage location to the new card but the only option I can find is to change the location of saving for when using Windows Media Sync. Is there any way to move the music and have the music app recognize the new location? I am rooted btw

just plug your phone in the computer, make a music folder on the SD card and drag and drop your music from internal storage into your music folder on the SD card
