how to not get double notified when using handcent sms?

I am on day two of my droid ownership and thus far I can't believe I have lived my entire life without one. lol

Anyway I am using handcent sms and when I get a text, I get double notifications and sounds, one from handcent and one from the default sms app. Can someone tell me how to only get notified from handcent sms? Thank you.

Easy. Go to your settings in the standard app and turn off notifications.

yup. Easy as that. Another tip though, when in doubt, hit the menu button. Saved me a bunch of trouble once I learned to do this hehe

Menu button and long press are two things I have to remember that often hide more goodies and tools.
