How to ONLY disable WhatsApp notifications in notification bar (Android 13)

Have just moved from iPhone and trying to figure this out. At the moment I seem to able to have ALL WA notifications or nothing. All I want to do is turn off the drop down notification but leave all others on (badge count, sound etc). Surely that's possible? Thanks for any help

Edit - I found a hide status bar notifications but that doesn't work either strangely.

Welcome to the forum...I would think long pressing in the notifications area would give you the option to hide
