how to play asx files on droid x

I have Cherry Rplayer and I also downloaded tuneIn player because one of the posts said it worked with asx audio files and I wanted to use it if the Cherry RP did not. I want to listen to some radio stations that are windows media based.

Butin both cases when I type in the link to the asx file, the link is not recognized.

I know it is correct because on my PC when I type it in, I get the box to save the asx file.

So what do I need to do to have the link recognized by these players?

I should say I also have a flash based link for one of these, but I don't know how to play that either.

I am having the same problem. cannot open an asx file on droid x. trying to stream something using 4 different options. is there an app needed?
