How to put Albums in chronological order

I have every single Metallica album, but I just want them to be in the order of year, and I don't know. I have Windows XP, if anybody has an answer on how to do this. And also if there is anyway to rename songs or album titles, while the SD card is present, not mounted to the comp.

it all depends on what music player youre using on your pc, if you have the files in your "my music" folder I believe you can add additional things (year, length, genre, etc..) to the categories and then click the label to sort it either ascending or descending. As for the sd card question, not its not possible to r/w it when its not mounted.
