How to root Samsung fascinate and galaxy tab?

Im looking for a good app to root Samsung fascinate and Samsung galaxy tab 10.1 umm Z4root is having problems downloading. something simple would be nice

There are some great rooting guides for the Fascinate on our sister site galaxyforums.net. (You can't use z4root to root the Fascinate.) Look under the Samsung Fascinate Development section as well as the Fascinate RS Guides section here. Plenty of Gingerbread and ICS roms available for your rom'ing pleasure.
