How to save email pictures?

How do we save pictures and images in emails? With previous smart phone I could long touch them and get a save image option. Nothing happens with long touch on GN....?

In gmail I see them as soon as I open the email. In the email app I touch the attachment tab, then the buttons appear.

I rarely use my gmail account, but guess I will have to use it more often. I do see the two choices in gmail to view or save pictures that are in emails, whether forwarded or sent directly to me. But, in my comcast account I only get the attachment tab when it is an email sent directly to me with a picture in it. If it was forwarded and has a picture in the body there are no options to view or save. I will miss the long touch feature..
Thanks, pool_shark, I appreciate your help.
