How To Save Navigation Shortcuts To Desktop

I was curious if anyone knew how I can save shortcuts for places I navigate to on my home screen. For example, if I open up Voice Search and say "Navigate to 123 Main Street", the navigation app opens up with directions to that location. I would like to be able to then save that search to my home screen as an icon from within the navigation app so I can just click on it and have those same directions appear again without having to pull up Voice Search and re-speak the destination. Any ideas?

You need to save the location first. Press and hold on the desktop, then select "shortcuts". Then choose "directions". Under the destination area you would plug in the address and then name the shortcut. Make sure that "turn-by-turn navigation" is checked and then click save. That location will now be loaded on your desktop for the next time you want to use it
