how to stop daily app updates?

Almost every day without fail I get the update icon, and it tells me there are 11ty updates for various apps. I used to go ahead and download them, which had to be done ONE BY ONE.

Then I would never notice any change in the app that was updated.

But, low and behold a couple of days later, another update.

I've finally gotten tired of this and stopped doing them. But of course I still get the notification daily. How can this be stopped?

Start up the Market app, hit menu, and go to Downloads.

Then, hit menu again, hit Notifications, and select the "Do Not Notify Me" radio button.

That's good to know.

Normally they tell you want the updates are. Many of the updates are internal, having to do with bugs they've discovered and corrected.
