How to tell if you're on Wifi or not?

I switched the wifi on but how do I know I'm connected to wifi or the 3G network? Does the wifi automatically connect? I was not prompted for a password even though the wifi is password protected. Thanks.

WiFi does automatically connect if you set the acces right (like setting ssid and password for your router). If you switched it on and you start browsing, DROID takes all dataconnection over to WiFi!

Think so,

speaking of my Milestone its to find under "Settings" > "Wireless" > "Wifi"
and there syou can setup the connection to your router....took me 3 Times to get everything right.

Make sure your router accepts new clients
