How to turn off auto thread subscriptions

I searched but couldnt find out how to turn this off. Everytime I reply to a thread I'm automatically subscribed to it with instant email notification.

very annoying. Anyone know how to disable this?

When you go into the USER CP, go to EDIT OPTIONS, then it's the 3rd option under messaging and notification.
