Hey guys,
getting annoyed to still connect your lovely DROID via
USB? Its time....future startet Just follow the instructions!
Notice: The best way to keep this working all the time among your network is to give your DROID a static IP Adress in your Network. For example if your router has 192.168.0.1 then your DROID can have the IP adress 192.168.0.123 if it is still free.
To find out what IP your network has and if the IP you desire is aviable goto Start>Execute and type
Example: Default Gateway is 192.168.0.1
DROID gets 192.168.0.2
To check if this IP is free type in the same window
Then:
1. Go To the market on your Droid, hit the Search, and search for "FTPServer"
2. Install FTPServer
3. Goto Settings and Edit the following:
User: RinTinTigger
Pass: MyPassword
Port: 2002 (or any above 2000)
Default dir: \sdcard
Accept Wifi Connections
Red credentials can be edited
Now surf on your PC to NetDrive - The Network Drive for Windows
and download Netdrive.
Install
CLick on "Add Site"
Set the following credentials EXACTLY THE SAME, as you did on droid.
Host/Server: 192.168.0.2 (Enter the IP)
User: RinTinTigger
Pass: MyPassword
Port: 2002 (or any above 2000)
Server Type: FTP
Select a free network drive for example Q:\
