HTC Eris Freezes and Backspaces

:icon_evil::icon_evil::icon_evil:My HTC Droid Eris often freezes and backs up when I'm typing. I went to the Verizon Store and of course it would not do it at the store. They told me my phone is working fine. No way! Does anyone else have this problem. The phone was replace under my insurance in Nov 2010. Thanks in advance.

Me too... I got an agent over the phone to let me upgrade early... but I am not sure want to get... or wait... are there any new droids coming out soon
